Fourth week of Teaching Practice in Second phase

It was my fourth week of teaching practice in the second phase of teaching practice at Fort High School and as usual, everything happened as a normal week. It was a week of model examination for students. So there were only classes after the afternoon, but it doesn't affect my classes as all English periods on the whole week were following the afternoon as on fifth, sixth, seventh hours. so that I could complete all my portions without any hurry burry. I also showed them my innovative aids on this week which was on the basis of the chapter "A Day in the Country" and through this aid the learners were able to understand the chapter effectively and interestingly.

Third week of Teaching practice in the Second phase

It was my third week of teaching practice. In this week Nadeem Sir came to observe my class. He said my class was improved than the first phase and also gave some suggestions. It makes me happy. I helped the students to study the topics very well. I helped them a lot. I also helped the non teaching staffs to serve mid day meal. In this week I taught constructivist lesson plans.

Second week 9f teaching practice

This week was quite hectic as it was comprised of observation from Aswathy Suranjan ma'am. Her recommendations to make the class better for the learners' experience was handed out right after as well. Multiple classes we taken and substitutions were attended as well. This week marked Children's Day on the 14 where the learners of Fort High School took part in the Children's Day rally happening at stadium, accompanied by teachers and trainee teachers and kheer was served to the students on that day. The learners were getting more used to my presence in their class in this week. More and more were learnt each day. I am able to build bonds with the learners of Fort School and is able to establish my presence there.

First week of teaching practice in Second phase

The second phase of teaching practice was initiated on 06.11.2024 (Wednesday) and is supposed to end by 11.12.2024. I was assigned to conduct my second phase of practice at Fort High School, Trivandrum. Built majestically at a prestigious building, the Fort School is situated at Kizhakkekkotta and is headed by Pradeep Sir as the Headmaster to the school.  I got the same class as I got in the first phase. So it makes me feel better. I taught them the balance of what I taught them before.  At first day of teaching practice in second phase students were having their Kalolsavam at nalanchira school. They got C grade for their performance .

As part of my B.Ed curriculum, I prepared e-content in the form of a teaching video on the grammar topic "PassiveVoice".  E-content, or electronic content, refers to digital materials created for learning and teaching purposes. E-content makes learning more flexible and accessible, allowing students to study anytime and anywhere, often with multimedia elements that make lessons more engaging.I created the video using my own voice to guide students through the concept, explaining in detail about Passive Voice. Through this e-content, I aimed to make the topic accessible and engaging, helping students understand the role of passive voice in building more complex sentences. This e-content on passive voice can greatly help students by providing a clear, structured explanation of a fundamental grammar concept.
